when you are looking for a new (to you) disk. look at how heavy it is built. I pulled a Long disk for my uncle for 30 years that would cut twice as deep as any John Deere that was around, including the new 14' he used the last ten years he farmed. Now John Deere may have a heavy disk, and nobody around here had one. Have not seen another double disk as heavy in the frame as that Long was. Just stay out of the wet spots as it will bury itself and the tractor.
