markct, My ol Aremotor runs well in med high wind, but in High wind the tail tries to shut the mill down. Usually in the high wind it is variable out of different directions at one time. So the tail in trying to adjust to the different wind speeds and direction it will try to take care of itself.
Talk to your local waterwell service in your area. I'll bet he may have a better explination than I.
