I've owned an IH rowcrop 574 gas with C200 engine and 2050 loader since 1987. Ran Prestone cleaner through the cooling system for recommended hours + and cleaned block. Changed oil and used Pennzoil 30 as recommended by IH dealer. Does not overheat literally. Can mow with sickle bar or plow all day and I stay at 180-190 degrees. Use a pto implement like the cut-ditioner or MF225 baler and it goes right to 210-220 degrees.Has been to top of temp gauge once - my fault in judgement. That was the only time it boiled. Is this normal for this engine and is there anything I missed or can do to run cooler. It has thrown a lot of heat since I bought it.
