Like Jim and the others have pointed out, there are many rigs that will plow snowfrom a roadway. The tractor issue would depend mainly on what other uses you're going to put it to. If you are going to do plowing, discing, harrowing, baleing, mowing, or any of the other myrid of jobs that come with having acreage; you maay want to consider a medium sized tractor that has a FEL, a good 3pt, and possibly a heated cab. Another thing to consider is the type of Dway you have. If it is gravel and 300 yards long, you are going to have to contend with potholes , as well as high and low spots, which you may find being quite a chore with a FEL. Personally I would go the way of Tom's suggestion, and go with an old 4wd pickup with a blade on the front. Good lulck in your decision.
