You are taking on a project. I'd be scared of someone who described a tractor with a rod sticking out the oil pan as 'in beautiful condition'?????? Holy cow! Is the loader in good condition - your inspection, not his description!!!! :) _Everything_ there, with working front pump? The price is a little high, as you have a lot of labor in front of you, as well as probably putting in an engine rebuild anyhow (used engine of a 50 year old tractor - it'll need it!). Loader is worth a few $100, you'll have some spare engine parts. Do you want this big of a project? The tractor is probably worth $800 tops, the engine $400, loader $200. But I'd think that is all top dollar, & I don't know I'd want to pay top dollar for that big of a project.... You don't know how 'beautiful' the tranny is, etc..... --->Paul
