Chuck, 3000 Fords were fantastic tractors. As far as doing real work, there is no way to compare them with an 8n Ford, because they (8n)s were only about two steps ahead of a mule. A plug of a mule at that. You will be pleased with the difference, however the price sounds a little high. Just keep in mind that you will be able to get about half that amount, once you get it planted in your wife's driveway. Best of luck. alvinnms
