I personally have never had experience with Fords but a friend of mine hs had them for a long time. He said their 9600 was indestructable, their 9700 was very good, but their tw 15 and tw 35 are junk. It hasn't been 100 or 200 dollar problems but 9000 and 10000 dollar problems. They've had problems with valves dropping and antifreeze problems with the engines and a key dropped out somewhere in the tranny in the 35 for about $10000. Last I heard from him they were trying to trade the 35 for a 8160 MF.
