I have a Landpride 2572 (6') finish mower. I bought it because I wanted a nicer cut than what my brush hog was doing. This particular model is a rear discharge. I love it. I pull it with a 50 hp John Deere. Not knowing much about your tractor, I couldn't say how it will perform. I have mowed grass over 2' tall. It takes a couple of passes but will do it. I don't think you would have any problem with grass 10" - 12" tall. The mower if used and maintained regularly will do close to the same job as a riding lawnmower.
