I've had the same experence as Mike M. A finish mower takes more power to run that a rotary cutter!! It going to take 2 or more pass' to cut 12" grass with a finish mower, and it's going to take a lot of HP to get the job done woth a 6' mower!! I think you are going to want more HP than you have. I've used a KK and also a Woods, personally, i'd pay more and get the Woods!! Robert
