Good points! However, she might have married him on the seldom used, but highly effective, pity clause; thats how I got my bride! Also, the gene pool can do some amazing things. We all have seen good healthy people with kids that are a whole loss, and, conversely idiots with great children. Just because "Mr Goodwretch" (sic) is a nitwit I can't write off the rest of the neighborhood without some cause. That having been said, your observations have plenty enough merit to cause concern.
