Good way to check radiator is to first get it warm and then after shutting it off feel the surface of the radiator for cool spots. The cool spots indicate clogged passages in the core. They can't be cleaned because you can't flow cleaner through them. Check Rockauto.com on the net for new radiators priced from $100 up to $230 depending on your particular model. Good people to deal with and fast also.
