Cutting the hood is not the best way of replacing the muffler. I have a styled AW, and after looking in the books, found out that it is actually fairly easy to take the hood off. Take the steering wheel off. Then pull the steering rod out through the front of the tractor. Take out a couple of bolts, and the dash comes off. A couple more bolts, and the whole hood lifts up, gas tank and all. Don't cut the hood, as it will look terrible afterwards. A previous owner did that with this AW.
