TECUMSEH MOTOR ** PLEASE HELP

I have a brand new tecumseh 6.5 horse power sport model OHH65 spec 71712D and would like to adjust carb and can*t find a fuel or air mixture screw on carb **** Am I not looking good enough or isn*t there one there *** Just built a wood splitter and put this on for power *** The motor works fine but it took about 1.5 gallons of gas to split about half cord of wood and smokes very very black if governor kicks in a little or a lot* I got a 13.6 gpm pump and a 4 inch cyl. if that means anything ** Thanks Much Hope you all have a good year Dennis
