The farm I work/live at has a 743B with Kubuta engine. If it's the same, facing the engine from rear, on left side, there will be four wires connecting to the glow plugs right somewhere around the injectors in the head. I haven't had any luck changing the one at the back because the injector pump is in my way. Ours doesn't shut off with a key. Some do. You pull a nob beside the throttle lever. The cable breaks or rusts often. If yours is the same, I think the other end is on the side of the injector pump. Make sure it is working. In ours, the glow plugs go bad often also. Maybe try holding key longer? Open throttle 1/4? Just some ideas. I beleive the you need those darn metric tools to remove glow plugs. Good luck!
