Our local carrier here in Concord just did something similar last year and I jumped on the wagon with both feet. In this case I pay the basic phone service and then for $39 a month I get unlimited long distance. It saved me a bundle every month. Dad did the same thing with his second line that we use for the business, and again it saved us alot every month. My advice is if they don't see a problem with saving you several thousand each month then go for it......you'd be crazy not to....
