Too much hp?

I was looking for an older 7000 series allis with a cab that was around 100 hp, maybe 115-120 at the most. I have seen that the 7000 and 7010s sell for more than the bigger 7030,7040, and 7045s. Is this because people don't want the bigger tractor? Would this tractor be too big for running an old 20ft batwing and a sqare baler and round baler? I was thinking that I could get a 21 spline to 6 spline and run the 540 rpm implements at low rpms to save fuel and have less wear and tear on the engines. How much bigger of a repair bill will I have with a 426 cu in engine compared to a 301, all 6 cyl? Would it be better to get a tractor this much more powerful, that way the drivetrain and engine would last longer? Any input is appreciated. Hurst
