Lost mine too on Dodge with cummins--twice-- First time I did not have the tool and used a hammer and chisel to tighten the nut, run it ten thousand and lost it again. Second time I made the tool with a piece of three inch drill stem and some quarter inch plate to make the slot bars that go in the slots of the nut. Tightend it down all I could then used a hammer and chisel and gave it a few more whops. Then I used the old nut that got spun off and put it on for a jam nut used the hammer and chisel on it too. There is an outfit in Ft. Worth that has an improved nut over the one that Dodge sells, I used it the second time. Either place you get it they come with red thread locker--use it, lots of it-- First nut I put on took me half a day because of a froze bolt on top of the carrier bearing, finally had to use a dremel to grind it off. Second time took an hour and a half from start to finish. If you go to TDR on the net, they have the parts list and step by step instructions.
