Thanks, folks for the info. This is a restored 60 with near new battery -and I don't run it often enough. It didn't fire the other day til I weakened the battery. 200 amp starter charger & it started. 12 volt batt, pos ground, hooked charger ok; mowed about an hr; no charge shown on guage-even after I turned lights on then off. Started it today(two days since); it started after more cranking than it should have taken and guage showed just a wee bit of charge. I figure that 200 amp hit on a near new battery must have quickly charged it til it didn't need any more charge that day. Possible?
