OT: Chevy 6.0L vs. Ford 5.4L

Sorry for a second post on pretty much the same topic in one day. I did a little digging myself and found out that a gasser would probably work best for me. I only live 10 miles out of town, so a diesel wouldn't really be feasible as a commuter. A good gas should also work for what trailer pulling I should be doing (either a triple or tandem single, thanks for the trailer info in the last discussion, and within 200 or 300 miles). The two most common 3/4 tons with gassers are Ford with their 5.4L and Chev with their 6.0L. Which is the better of the two engines, both in fuel economy, reliability, and in pulling capabilities?
