international 856 fuel pump

Hello here's a question from Holland. I've got a 856 with a roosa master fuel pump, is it easy to "turn it up" so the engine gets more hp? I've got the service manual whit the discription of the work. Is it easy to do it your self or are there a lot of things wich can go rong
