6V Pos. Ground Alt UPDATE

Previous post on alt installed on JD LA that wasn't charging has been solved. The general concensus was that it wasn't spinning fast enough as the alt had standard 2 1/2" pulley on it and LA's don't run at much above idle by todays standards. I put a 1 3/4" diameter pulley on as that was the smallest I could find locally. Start tractor, briefly accelerate to close to max engine rpm & alternator energizes itself & charges at 10-20 amps even at idle until batt charged back up.. So thanks to all that responded and helped solve it!
