Tom, thanks for the advice. It doesn't look like the cap clip are part of the breaker plate. Looks like it held on by the one post with the c clip on it. As far as the 2 screws that hold the cap clips on, one is in the back, the other about an inch from the carb. So I'd have to take the carb off just to get at that screw. The only way to really get at those clip screws is to take the off the distributor housing off. I'd have to have somebody else do that. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
