Can't afford to replace, even more $$$ to repair. You can pour all the money you want into an old vehicle and it's still just an old vehicle. I kept a 95 Jimmy around for three extra years until 2004. The repairs cost more than double what the thing was worth. It would have been far cheaper to have dealt it and bought new with that money. I would have had a 2004 Sierra 4x4 within five grand of being paid for, two years ago.
