There are also some oddballs with the 9.5" rear - 14 bolt with SF axles and 8 lugs. I've got an 89 GMC 4WD truck sitting here with that setup in 3.73 ratio. Seems GM was a little inconsistent with their use of body styles, axles, etc. during the years when they were making the old body stlyes at the same time as the new - 1988 on to 91. I've seen the 2500s for 88 and 89 with the 10.5" full floating axles as well as the 9.5" semi-floating - both with 8 lug.
