Acetone ( fingernail polish remover ) or if you are a painter of tractors use zylol ( I don't know it's generic name ), if those don't work then denatured alcohol or adhesive remover ( this might be acetone ) . Or I'd just keep scubbing it with a scotchbrite pad and dawn dishwashing liquid and HOT water . If that doesn't work I'd move onto a polishing cream for paint such as a medium rubbing compound . Last ditch effert - break out the heat gun and warm it up good and then try the polishing compound again . Some things just can't be removed though without finding bare metal so good luck ! ...Randy
