You will need to wear the full goggles that will seal your eyes from the elements. Safety glasses wont cut it.
My buddy has worn contacts for many years and always makes sure he has goggles whenever he will be around conditions that may irritate his eyes.
Check with your eye DR. they will have recomendations that will fit your needs.
