Regardless of where it is assembled, there may indeed be Chinese components on them. I suspect a lot of the castings originate there..not all, but a lot.
Now, the surprise I got on my 2005 JD 5320 ASSEMBLED IN GEORGIA, USA...is the multi origins of the parts. Italian front axle (Carrero), Spanish Bosch electrical system, Mexican built engine, Spanish 3 point links, supposedly Polish built hydraulics, Mannheim transmission/rear axle and lo and behold....I crawled under the rear end, looked up and the draw bar housing says..CHINA! Yep, Mother Deere hid that out of sight. What else came from there, I haven't yet found out. I am sure there are more.
