Come on out to Utah - there's lots of smaller project tractors and even some that work fine. I picked up a '52 8N last fall in Ogden for $1800 - runs fine, doesn't use much oil and the 3pt hitch is working (could use some work, though. Other than a new battery and an oil change, I haven't done anything to it in a year and I use it every day. I also picked up a MF TO-35 4-cylinder diesel for $1800. Been repainted and everything works. My 3rd tractor is another 8N with a loader (front hydraulic pump) It's in a little more rough shape - had to rebuilt carb and ignition and the front hydraulic pump leaks. But it does the job for what I need. Lots of other good tractors out here too. Tim
