Tim is right, for the most part. There are some that that are to high. You know: $1500 worn out 8N, $100 paint job, wa-lah $3500 dollar tractor. The majority of people are very reasonable and some are glad to have somebody fix an old girl up as the farm is now sub-divided and they cannot bear to junk and old faithful friend. Their kids do not want them for the most part, they are not pretty. My first tractor an AC-b Ipicked up for $300 dollars, stuck engine, was running a day later. Next was a VAC-14, $300 came with most of the parts to fix it. It'll be running this week. Tim and I are lucky to be in such a tractor rich enviroment. May the holidays bring peace and that hard to find part to each of you.
