My case is gas driven and the book shows a 9 1/4 " clutch. My question is... Like today I was asked what the spline count on pto is? Wanted to know if it is an 8 count spline. But found mine is a 6 count spline. Seems like it made some kind of difference but I don't understand why? Now they also asked me how many splines on the transmission end? Do not know this cause my tractor is not torn down plus I have to wait and have someone else do that for me. Why these kind of questions? Also was told that a 530 case clutch and pressure plate might work? Any help on any of this.
