Have done it for years. Just be sure to run the duals at a lower pressure, to account for the inceased radial tire squat/deflection, which effects tire rolling diameter. However if the duals have a lot of wear and were a smaller diameter when new (realize that although the tires are labled the same size, they probably have a slightly different diameter, which could be as much as a couple of inches), this might not be an issue. Just need to view the tires when installing and make a conclusion.
