If anyone has any of these lying around, treat them with the care and consideration they deserve; two just sold on EBay: 1909-1986 McCord, 584 pgs, $55.03 (16 bids); and 1916-1978 Victor, 344 pgs, $55.50 (19 bids). Plus shipping, of course. Maybe it's a bubble, like housing, and prices will come down before it's too late (for me, I mean). I got a 1930 McCord a couple years ago, literally by accident, but it's not going to have any company at those rates.
