Well for one thing, you don't need a kicker on your baler, which requires additional HP, it' something else to break, and you don't have to unload the kicker wagon by hand. A bale basket has almost zero maintenance. A guy can bale and unload hay all day without touching a bale until you are ready to stack the hay in the mow.
