Bill- It is real easy. But, just be real careful about not blowing up that 6 volt battery...

Hook jumper cables to your truck, red to + and black to - on the battery.

Hook up the tractor end same way as to +/- polarity, over on the cable coming down to the starter motor. Connect the - on the 8N starter's power feed cable and the + to a starter mounting bolt.

Don't stand there gawkin & looking at the battery after you do it. Don't stand around smoking & joking with your buddies when you do! Important is to immediately hit the starter and mebbie you'll understand the benefits of converting that 8N to a 12 volt system.

Un-hook quick when the 8N fires up. Keep in mind that this can be a dangerous procedure.

EYE PROTECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU DO THIS!!!
