The city cop in Columbia wouldn't let me borrow his big flashlight after a fleeing felon in a stolen car totaled my son-in-law's truck. Son-in-law escaped with bumps and bruises. The felon had got away from a police chase two weeks earlier and got through a road block right before he hit my son-in-law's truck. The Columbia PD was elated to have the guy in cuffs.
