Howdy dave2, New Hollands & JD's are the balers, I hear, to be the best around here. I own an IH 47 baler & some in the neighborhood figue I don't know better or am a glutton for punishment. However, when the knotters work, they tie up a storm. I like my baler. First crop, this year, I had 155 bales & it only missed one on a twine changeover. Second cutting had to come off the ground while still pretty damp. Broke 18-20 bales! No amount of change in the feeding or bale tension seemed to change the fact the hay was still wet. I baled up a few bales of straw, to help clean out the baler. Didn't miss, not a one. If you don't mind a quirk here & there with your baler, a red one should be ok. Try & get a few pics if you get the red one, please. I think those balers look sharp with the extra shielding. Good luck in your hunt - Mike
