I've got a Massey Ferguson 150 diesel, which is the same drivetrain as a 135, just a heavier front end, slightly longer wheelbase, and a few more bells and whistles. Also has a few hundred more lbs. IMHO, the 150 handles a plow just a little better than a 135 due to the weight and wheelbase.
It toys with a 2X14" MF #66 plow. I've had 3X12"'s behind it and it did just fine, but I like the 14" plows better. At one time I had a 2X16" Ford 101 plow. The 150 handled it just about the same as the 2X14"'s. We have decent soil here, some clay, top soil about 14" deep. I plow around 8" to 9" deep with the 14"'s. (They have coverboards. That seems to make quite a difference)
