It is a Avery designed tractot BUT IT IS NOT from the Avery A but the larger Avery R and as the Moline line already had a Model R in it they had to chainge the designation so they went with BF from the B F Avery name. The tractor the size of the Avery A (That was also the Wards Twin Row and the Coop B1 after starting out as the Cletrac) was droped when Moline took over. They only kept the largest that was the R and the smallest that was the V but as Moline did not have a model V they were able to keep that tractor at the same designation. Moline took the BF and made a modified version that was a 1 row offset tractor and gave it the BG for vegetable tractor.
