We have 5 acres with lots of trees under 20 yrs old, so there are lots of leaves accumulating now. I never take leaves away---just run over the lawn another time with the mower. I've let the grass grow longer this fall, so now the leaves stay in place rather than blowing away. That being said, at this time of year at evening we have scores--if not 2-300 robins--scavenging over the whole area. In checking with neighbor's lots, I don't see the same activity.Just maybe we're doing something right??
