I had an opossum eating cat food when I went in shed to feed the cats. Never had the prob when the dog was around but he got run over on hyway about 2 mo. ago. Really miss that old dog but that's another story. Any way I have a rifle that I got from a neighbor years ago. I have not fired it for maybe 15 years. I have it and some shells up in the rafters of the pump house. By the time I crawled up there and got it the opossum was gone. I don't know anything about guns so I don't know if this is an old gun or a collect0r or just another 22 like a million others out there. So when I had it down today I wrote down the info from the gun. Remington model 12-A, short/long, patent dates 1909,10,11 and the final one April 16, 1912. Anyone know what I got here? Also the box of shells I bought when I got the gun maybe 30 years ago still has the price tag on it. Scheels sport store $1.59 How does that price compare to today?
