I have seen all kinda things.
I usually don't call, but when I do many seem to get upset when you do call and ask how much they want for it ? Well if you don't want bothered then put the price in there !
And on putting OBO I once called a guy who had OBO his price seemed like a good deal so I told him I'd be there after work. I was to be the first caller and had the first appointment or so he told me ? I showed up with enough cash and the trailer when I said I would. Checked the tractor out and said I'd take it,told him I'd go get the money out of the truck for him. Then he hit me with the OBO by his definition. He want best offer over what he was asking ! I tried to get him to nail down a price to buy it right now and he wouldn't give me one ! I played his game a little calling him the next day and makeing offers higher then he would call back with a higher offer form someone else. I played his game a few times then I let him and the other guy have it ! I told him I just helped him get alot more money out of this from the other guy and that if he wanted to run an auction that he should of been up front about it from the get go !
