I posted last year on a 7700ford tractor that I had bought. Turns out it is going to cost more to fix than I want to put into it. I have about decided to try to buy a new one, I am pulling a 10' jd 1018 bushhog. It has the 1100rpm pto. What size JD would handle it, I looked at the 5065M JD. Haven't been to a kobota place yet. What size kobota would handle a 10' heavy bushog? It has to have the 1100 speed pto. The JD's are salty but I figure I will always be able to get parts for it and sombody to work on it if need be. I don't know a lot about kobota. Have heard they are lighter weight than JD but crank better in cold weather. I have just got started looking and plan to do my homework. I might be better off to go with a new tractor and an 8' bushog and sell tractor and bushog both.
