If you have an under cdl Truck (Under 26,000), with no intention of pulling a trailer being questionably over the cdl rate, whats the general idea for insurance? Is it going to be about the same as if you were running a cdl vehicle, or closer to the 1 ton truck side? What about anything else? Just doing some wishful thinking, but have no idea what the insurance would look like, or what would be required. Insurance office is closed today, so no use calling them, not that its useful when they are open. The insurance is a potential dealbreaker on the idea, which would be a good heavy used (under $10,000) truck to use 5-10 times a year locally only. Again just wishful thinking.
