sometime last year, Barbara found Missy(some name for a husky, not my idea)at the patio door with a dead squirrel in her mouth. There was a little fresh blood on the squirrel's head, none on the dog. I got home a few minutes later. We found a little blood on the brick walk. The pattern indicated a hard impact. We think that the squirrel probably fell out of a tree and was killed by the impact. It's seldom that a squirrel does fall, but I have seen it happen before.
