Looking into upgrading swathers. We currently run a 488 NH which is a sickle haybine. While a good machine it doesn't have the capacity I need any more. So here is the question, I am looking at the TM 800 Vermeer,MC 840 and 1030 Vermeer and Hesston 1340, NH 1431 or 1411. While I know this is a long list, I am looking at opinions as to which machine would be the best for the money. All are priced nearly the same for good used or (new TM 800) in our area. I run 350 acres of brome, fescue and native prairie with a fair number of terraces.
