I do Soda Blasting and needed a Air Compressor to handle the CFM and PSI .. that I needed ... Anyway a friend had this Schramm compressor and now it's mine .. the magneto was rebuilt , the gas tank clean and lined , and carburetor clean ..
My problem is .. it will only run with the CHOKE 1/2 out or more .. I e-mail the Schramm and found out that they made compressor's from 1900 to 1980 ... no parts or manuals ... Does anyone out there have any ideas what or where I can some advice ?? the compressor only has 215 hours on it .. been sitting most it's life .. it puts out 100 psi or 500 psi ... Would like to get it running better and get the 100 psi up to 150 psi .. if possible .. Just need to know how ... it is a 6 cyl. with the 1st 3 cyl's as engine and last 3 as compressor ... have no idea what make of engine ..
