I got one almost like that. It has a distributor instead of mag. Got it from scrap yard, eng stuck, has big lift ring in center of hood. Got 2 of the tractors, use same engine. Both need radiators if you ever come across parts, they were stolen a few years ago. Anyhow, when I got the first one in "91, I did get a manual and parts book from Schramm. No one there seemed to know much about the machines, as in all those folks had retired and gone. They were handy around the farm, take air to where ever in the field. If you look on the air receiver tank, there is a tag with important data on it, a stamp of the inspector etc, and the date it was made. This gives you some idea as to the production date of the compressor unit. There should be a serial number on a tag on the engine under the manifold. I got another one that uses all 6 cylinders for compression and is driven by a 75 horse electric motor. I have an ad for Schramm"s from the mid "50"s. They made a lot of different versions of that machine. Sometimes I wonder if any two were alike. I think a lot of them went to the St. Lawerance Seaway project and the Navy used them on carrier decks.
