That is a great idea about using a torch instead of a chain saw to amputate your leg if the need arises. You should probably check with T-Bone on Tool Talk as he is the resident guru on torches. He can advise you on propane vs. acetylene, pressures, and tip sizes prior to your taking action.
If you should use the chain saw, drain the chain oiler and fill it with Neosporin or at least Listerine. I am partial to vanilla scent as it will neutralize the chain saw fumes(wife will appreciate this). SAVE THAT LEG, as it tastes just like chicken I am told. A good plate of leg parmesan sounds pretty tasty.
