Amen to that... Besides the actual milking itself, think of all the other dairy-associated chores to be done: washing up the milk dishes (although that's probably quite automated these days), hauling in hay & grain to feed the hungry beasts, cutting and baling hay, the list goes on...
And imagine the size of the manure pile, and how often it has to be hauled...
That's a whole lotta milk. I'd better go get a bowl of ice cream, just to help out!
