Went on a trip out to Eastern Pa ( Hanover area ) Wonderful dinner and 2 and a half days of visiting with our family out there.
Tuesday night just after dark I was helping my friend near here to haul some water in barrels from my house to his as his well went dry and he needed it for his horses.
We planned to leave wed around dinnertime for the 4 1/2 hour trip and all was well till I came up with the bright idea to pull my truck on a steep slope and just slide the barrels gently to the ground... well I had one barrel started out of the truck and the one beside it decided to unload itself and I had no control over it as it slid back off the liner onto the tailgate it hit the ridges or indentations on tailgate causing it to upend and land on my foot. I have been to 2 hospitals one near me and the one in Gettysburgh, and both tell me just contusions no breaks ?? still hurts like a Son.. Oh well ya got the idea.
